The AKLOT CAJON DRUM BOX is a box-shaped wooden percussion instrument, originally meant as a wooden box or drawer. It produces sound by tapping the thin sheet on the front of the wooden box, making a sound similar to a jazz drum. Equipped with snare guitar strings, the AKLOT cajon drum creates resonance and produces a sound similar to jazz drums.

Featuring two sets of snares beneath the soundboard, this cajon drum can produce a "snare" or "buzz-like" effect when the front soundboard is beaten. This effect is similar to a snare drum and brings more depth to your performances. Additionally, the snares of this Cajon can be adjusted, tightened, or loosened to achieve different snare effects, making your show more interesting.

To improve the sound quality, the AKLOT cajon drum is designed with soft rubber feet. These rubber feet isolate vibration and interference from the ground, ensuring a clear sound. The rubber feet also provide stability when the Cajon is tilted for comfortable playing, even on carpeted surfaces.

Tuning a Cajon is different from tuning a guitar. It is important to find the perfect tuning to achieve the desired snare effect. Tuning it too tight may cause the string to break, while tuning it too loose may result in excessive snare sounds. The perfect tuning is subjective, as it varies depending on individual preference and playing with other instruments. To tighten the snares, simply turn the Allen wrench clockwise, and to loosen them, turn it counterclockwise.
